Pflugerville
Located south of Round Rock and North Of Austin, the city of Pflugerville has adopted the clever slogan, “Between a Rock and a Weird Place”. Pflugerville was founded in 1860 when William Bohls established a general store and post office. The town was named Pflugerville in honor of Henry Pfluger who arrived in 1849 from Germany. The town’s German history is celebrated every October at Deutschen Pfest. Residents and visitors enjoy places like Lake Pflugerville, Typhoon Texas, The Heritage House Museum, and the Slice of Pflugerville Festival.
